We have been going since 2006 and we do not run a first line, which means everyone here is trusted to decide things. Three roles are open. Apply with the short form; a real person reads it.
2nd / 3rd line engineer
Self-driven techno-geeks who can speak human. The engineer who answers is the one who fixes it, so you would work directly with clients across Microsoft 365, networks, security and the devices people use, with an assistant doing the logging and chasing so your time goes on the problem. Second line: minimal supervision, servers, Active Directory, networking, 365 administration, rebuilds. Third line: no supervision, Meraki or similar networking, firewalls, virtualisation, PowerShell, Intune, SharePoint and Teams administration, root cause of repeat failures, projects.
- Support experience in busy offices of 10 to 1,000 users, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
- Comfortable in front of a client, on the phone and in person; takes ownership
- Microsoft certification, A+ or similar, held or aimed for
Accounts
Invoicing, supplier bills, bank and card reconciliation, credit control and the monthly and quarterly management reports, in QuickBooks Online, working alongside automation that does the keying and chasing. You would be the person who checks, decides and talks to people.
- Three years or more running a small company's books, QuickBooks Online ideally; an accounting qualification helps
- Care about getting numbers right, and saying so when they are not
- Comfortable with software doing the repetitive part; Excel and imports as a matter of course
Sales & Marketing
Finding and talking to the companies we can genuinely help: 10 to 200 people, London or a London branch of a group abroad, often on HubSpot or QuickBooks. Plain English, no scripts, and a portal to show rather than a deck to read.
- Business-to-business experience, ideally with a technical or professional service
- Writes clearly and listens well
- HubSpot experience is a plus, not a must
