What it is Keeping track of what a business runs on is harder than it sounds. Software, hardware and cloud services arrive every month, people change, and the last inventory is a spreadsheet from a previous IT person. The risk is in what nobody knows about: the admin account nobody remembers, the licence paid for twice, the backup that stopped in March. The audit is a fixed piece of work that answers the question. An engineer, with the tools to do the counting, looks at everything and writes down what is there, what is at risk and what to do first. You get the report and the priorities. What you do next is your decision. ## How it runs 1. **Discovery.** An hour with you, then access for the tools: what the business runs on, who has what, what has been bought and forgotten. 2. **Analysis.** Security, backups, licences, network, single points of failure, staff habits, each checked against what good looks like. 3. **Report.** Plain words, findings in priority order, the risk and the cost of fixing each. 4. **Recommendations and a plan.** What to do first, what can wait, what to leave alone.
